Regular Season Round 11: Aalst - Feyenoord 87-90

There was an upset when higher ranked BelgianOkapi Aalst (5-5) was edged at home by sixteenth ranked Dutch Feyenoord (3-6) 90-87 on Saturday. Feyenoord had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Feyenoord especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.1 percentage. The best player for the winners was American guard Noah Cameron (190-1997, college: Wesley) who scored 31 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. His fellow American import forward Isaiah Powell (198-1999, college: Vermont) chipped in 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Cameron is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Point guard Niels Van Den Eynde (179-2000) produced 28 points (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) and forward Siebe Ledegen (199-2003) added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Aalst players scored in double figures. Feyenoord moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Groningen. Loser Okapi Aalst dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. They share it with Charleroi and Zwolle.
